Knowledge Base » Subscription » How to add new channels

If you are a new user and you are making your first subscription, then this article is not going to be helpful for you. This is helpful instead for active hotels/properties that are willing to add new channels to their existing subscriptions.

As you know, every subscription has got its own expiration date for the channels you select. This means that you could have a subscription for Booking.com, Airbnb and Expedia, and then another subscription made later on for another channel, like Google Hotel or the Mobile App. In this example, you would have to renew two different subscriptions before their expiration date, or if you choose the "recurring" option (strongly recommended), you would have two different charges.

There is no limit on the number of active subscriptions you can have under the same account, but in terms of "ease", the best practice is to have one single subscription for all channels you want to use. This way you will have to worry about just one expiration date, whether the renew is manual or automatic ("recurring").

What to do if you decide to add a channel later on?

If you can, our suggestion is to wait for your subscription to expire, and a few days before the expiration date you can place a new subscription order (always by using your same login account) by adding to the cart all channels you wish to use. As you know, the more channels you add to the cart, the higher the cumulative discount will be. Therefore, beside having a decent subscription with just one expiration date, you will also save money.

However, if you recently made a subscription and then you find out that you actually need another channel, then your expiration date may be too far ahead in the future to wait for it to expire and then adjust it with a new subscription. These are the steps we suggest in these cases:

  1. Make another subscription just for the channels you are missing and would like to add, but try to select a duration that will produce an expiration date near to your existing subscription.
  2. When both subscriptions approach their expiration dates, make a new subscription that includes all channels you wish to use.
  3. Pay attention to the renewal type of your subscription: if you selected the "recurring" option for an old subscription, then you should cancel this automated renewal. You can do it from your account on our website if you paid the subscription via credit card. Otherwise, if you paid it through PayPal, the subscription will need to be cancelled from your PayPal account.
  4. We strongly recommend to choose the "Recurring" option for your subscriptions that you know include all channels that you need. If you pay it by credit card, cancelling the automated renewal will require just one click from your account on our website.

In particular circumstances when you aren't sure about what to do for adding a new channel, it is better to contact our team. However, what's stated above is always valid, because if you have an active recurring subscription that doesn't include all the channels that you want, you will have to cancel it at some point. This way you will be able to place a new subscription order that includes all the channels that you need, and maybe choose again to have it renewed automatically ("recurring" option).
